We're always told that we owe our freedoms to the military for defending them and spreading democracy around the world. Now the US military is urging the suppression of a film that is being used my Muslim extremists as a pretext to attack US embassies in the Middle East.
This involves a purported film about Mohammed called "Innocence of Muslims" a trailer of which recently appeared on Youtube. This supposedly provided the provocation for Muslims to attack Us embassies in Egypt, Libya and several other countries as well as kill several US personnel. I watched the trailer and it's just about the dopiest thing I've ever seen. Does anybody really believe that radical Muslims need such a flimsy pretext to attack US interests?
Now the Obama administration has ordered senior military commanders to quash this film...which may not even exist. Once again Americans are asked to give up their free speech rights because "minorities" can't follow the norms of civilized behavior and have no respect for free speech....just like the blacks and Hispanics in this Country.
Notice how liberals, and now the US military, never blame culpable people. When the blacks riot, it's not their fault. It's the fault of white racists. When Mexicans have to run away from their own country to America for the "better life" they're incapable of creating in their own land, it's the fault of white racists. When "minorities" flunk most classes in school, it's not their fault for watching too much TV and doing too little homework, it's the fault of white racism. When minorities murder each other you can be sure that dirty rotten white racists are to blame.
Over and over...the same excuse.

Now our government wants to add Muslim extremists and murderers to the list of protected minorities who can't be criticized. HOW ABOUT DEFENDING THE FREE SPEECH RIGHTS OF AMERICANS.
