Updated yesterday at 4:08 PM       LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WHAS11) -- Ask any parent, potty training is almost always difficult and challenging, but the technique used by a mom in Utah is getting a lot of attention.
   
Two year-old twins dining in a Lehi, Utah deli with their mother removed their clothes sat down on potty chairs and began to use the potty. The twins using the potty were not the problem, the problem was they were doing this at the dinner table in the open for other patrons to see.

The restaurant received several complaints from patrons. A spokeswoman says their staff did not realize what was going on among the crowd until it was already over, but she says they would have asked the mother to leave.

I'd definitely get upset if that happened at the table next to me. I wonder if she'd change a poopy diaper on the table too?? Just shove the food aside, wipe off the silverware later. What an idiot. POWDERMAN.

Had I been the restaurant manager, I would have treated this as critically as an armed robbery. I would have photographed the situation, gone directly to the offending parent. Ordered her out of the restaurant in a loud voice, and threatened to have her arrested for tresspassing if there was any resistance at all, and made sure that the message contained that you cannot do this to my customers. I would then have followed her out of the restaurant, and apologized to the other patrons, offering something like a free desert or coffee. This is the sort of thing that can kill a restaurant quickly if it's allowed to happen without intervention.
