hello all just joined this will be the 3rd time getting involved with contenders 1st time i bought a armor alloy 14"44 mag back in the early 80shad it for a few years shot some silloutte put a burris 2x7 scope on to hunt deer with just before i moved to washingiton state all my firearms got stolen couple yars later i picked up a blued contender with a45/410 '10"357bull ,a14"44mag and a 10"41 mag barrels shot them for a few years ended up trading it off for a dan wesson pistol pack just bought a 1975 vintage contenderwith a 10" oct. barrel what a lightweight slender package.going to go shoot it sometime this week i know that the first barrel i'm looking for is going to be a 14" 41 mag ever since i bought that 1st 41 mag barrel it' become my favorite cal. have had a couple of blackhawks and a redhawk in 41 mag it's been probly the most accurate cal. i've shot and reloaded for in pistol
