Like with other makers, CVA's 1:48 twist barrels were duel use for both RB and conical.  Would shoot RB's OK, but not as well as a slower twist (1:66/1:70/etc).

Their recommended loads for the 54's with a .015 patched .530 RB and .540 Conical was 60FFG to 120FFG.
Evolution at work. Over two million years ago the genus Homo had small cranial capacity and thick skin to protect them from their environment. One species has evolved into obese cranial fatheads with thin skin in comparison that whines about anything and everything as their shield against their environment. Meus
