McDonald's by AP WHAS11.com Posted on September 12, 2012 at 8:26 PM (WHAS11)- McDonald’s now posting the number of calories in its food.
It will start posting the information on menus in restaurants across the country next week, although some in Kentuckiana already have the numbers on drive through menus.
This comes right before a new regulation requiring the information to be posted.
McDonald’s is also testing healthier items, like an Egg Mcmuffin made with egg whites on a whole grain muffin.
President Obama’s healthcare overhaul will require chains with 20 or more locations to post calorie counts.
