New H&R Pardner Pump Owner
« on: September 21, 2012, 03:42:12 AM »
Just picked up a used 12 gauge, I'm very happy with it. I already took it apart and cleaned everything, what I really like about it, is it came camo dipped. I have a quick question tho, this is the 1871, I can shoot 2 3/4 - 3inch shells, this does have a choke, so can I shoot steel? The gun I would guess is only a few years old.

Welcome! Yes, steel shot is fine, from the PP manual:

shot size, as well as rifled slugs and sabots.
