Cannon shooting video marathon
« on: September 21, 2012, 01:56:38 AM »
By popular demand I've made up a You-Tube "playlist" of only cannon-shooting videos.  90% or more are blackpowder cannons, I wish I was able to make up one for blackpowder only but can't, so just skip the few non-BP vids.  There are over 50 blackpowder vids in this playlist, and if you hit "play all" they run for something over 7 hours.

Thanks for consolidating the ordnance stuff on one playlist; it makes searching much more convenient.
RIP John. While on vacation July 4th 2013 in northern Wisconsin, he was ATVing with family and pulled ahead of everyone and took off at break-neck speed without a helmet. He lost control.....hit a tree....and the tree won.  He died instantly.

The one thing that you can almost always rely on research leading to, is more research.

Glad you found it useful.  I will probably do at least one more, on cannons in museums this time.  Will let you know when that's done.

Here it is, a you-tube playlist entitled "Antique Artillery in Museums, on Military Posts, etc."  t contains 37 videos, a bit over 5 hours if you watch it all.  Included are either all or portions of the collections at the Washington Navy Yard, West Point, Fort Washington MD, Castillo de San Marcos, FL, Fort Taylor, Key West FL, Fort Jefferson, Dry Tortugas, etc.

John,

Keep up the great videos.  I always enjoy watching them, especially the ones from the gun/cannon shows.

Thanks.
