Jesse Ventura
« on: September 18, 2012, 04:15:14 AM »
Jesse was on Piers Morgan.  Look it up.  He said being a Republican is a disorder.   ;D    He also defended the 2nd Amendment.

He talked conspiracy theories and really said way too much IMO.  But the audience didn't think so!  When Piers said his ideas were crackpot, Jesse asked the live audience there if they thought

he was a crackpot.  The room was silent!  Jesse said, "Only one person (Piers)."  Then Jesse asked who agrees with him and everybody cheered in a standing ovation.  Piers Morgan sat their like

a puppy with his tail between his legs.   Go have a look at the Piers Morgan/ Jesse Ventura interview.  It was interesting.   :)
Study after study has shown how dangerous distracted driving is yet people continue to talk on their cell phones while driving. Driving in the U.S. requires your full attention. Many states and countries have made it illegal to use a cell phone while operating a motor vehicle and the federal government should follow their lead. Banning the use of cell phones while driving would have the added benefit of making the no-texting law enforceable.

Gambling is immoral unless the government gets to be the bookie
Drugs are immoral unless the government gets to be the dealer
Prostitution is immoral unless the government gets to be the pimp

Morgan's response:

"In Britain, 45 murders from guns.  Australia, 38.  United States, 11,000.  I can't buy your logic defending a Second Amendment."

Ventura:

"That's acceptable to me.  When a crime is committed, the police aren't there.  They come afterwards.  You need to have a gun to protect yourselves."

I don't care for Ventura, but that's a good response.

Ya think? Your probably right. If it had been real, Old Jesse would have grabbed silk and lace by his scrawny neck, and kicked his British behind back to England, where he needs to be..I'm sure that long nosed Jackass thinks we are still subjects of the Crown, and by the way a lot of Americans are acting today, I'm beginning to think it's true. I think a lot of this desire to run the affairs of other countries, is British inspired. If you study history, you can't help but notice......They are experts at it ;)

Maybe Piers will take  his pompous arse back across the pond once he is finished telling the unwashed (us) how people should behave in a civilized society. A lot of things Jesse says make sense but other times he comes off as a blowhard who likes to hear himself talk.

I agree! Jesse is an entertainer first, and most entertainers and politicians love the sound of their own voice. That said! I get a little ticked when I hear these better than thou, Crown worshiping,Phony misfits from Jolly Ol England come off with their Ignorant false ego BS.

When I was stationed in Germany in the 60's, I had the misfortune of having to train at times with them in the field. We also had German and French troops stationed at Baumholder, and the American and German troops were head and shoulders above the Brit's and French.

Very few soldiers from my outfit would socialize with them. We preferred the Germans! Gemans were down to earth, like we were. The Brits seem to think their manure didn't stink ;) The French!.................."Well" They were uh' French. Sorry if I've offended any Brits on the forum. If there are any! I'm sure most common folk from England are good people, and like many of us...........just want to be left alone to live in peace.ANYWAY! Jesse is, IMO a patriot. He may be uncouth, a little rough around the edges, and may even belive in UFO's ::) But he is a guy who has been around the horn, and is not part of the Good Old Boy's club that........Like P Morgan, thinks they are better than us commoners, and knows what's best for us (SHEEP). I would vote for someone like him over the likes of these two monkey's running, any day of the week.

I do wish he would let Jesse the Body die though! That hair thing of his is worse than Trumps ;)

Another thing is that these states are never presented in a manner that is PROPORTIONATE to population numbers.

Also, I'd hate to think it's true but I've heard of gun controllers also including the number of people killed by police officers in those twisted stats. Of course the difference between "deaths"and "murders" can be easily blurred for ones own agenda. And lets face it, justified or not, cops kill a good chunk of people each year.

Not sure about how dumb he is. He was smart enough to land a term as Gov.And he is making lots of the green stuff being on these shows. ;) Your never going to see the media interview Pilots, Architects and engineers other than Government experts, concerning 911.Including Faux news!

Jesse Ventura is "credible" enough, but he has a problem with presentation, and in what manner he is received by the people; and therefore will not be taken seriously by most.

I admire him and am more or less in agreement with him with many (but not all) of his claims, BUT ELOQUENCE IS CERTAINLY NOT ONE OF HIS STRONG ATTRIBUTES. It's too bad :-\

I was ready for Jesse to pick up the table and say, "Look, I can do this,"  then go pick up Piers.   "So, should  I do it?"

Now we know why you'll never see Jesse Ventura on live TV.  I hope he enjoys his book sales.

I think (lacking) eloquence (is) one of his strong attributes ;) 90% of so called men shown on TV today, come off as little flitting fairies.I don't know about you, but I prefer men to act like men.It makes it easier to distinguish between male and female.Isn't it strange when we talk about men like Ron Paul,or a Jesse Ventura, so many people always put into quotation. I like most of his views (But not all) :o We never have, or never will meet anyone we will agree with on all subjects. At least not thinking people!
Eloquence! I said that with little finger extended ;) Don't mean squat! If you want Eloquence visit the Buckingham Pallace.

I hear you NW.

In eloquence not being one of his stronger points I guess I should have stressed the PERSUASIVE part of that description as Jesse Ventura definitely does not lack in forcefulness or conviction. He certainly has all the personality characteristics of a leader who leads from the front unlike so many of the double talking political whores sitting in political office today.

I agree that a wishy washy candy ass stands for nothing and is no good to anyone. Unfortunately though, it seems that most people would prefer to be spoon fed, with the little pinky extended ;D , a lot of sugar coated half truths rather than cold hard reality.

I tried, when I was younger, to force feed heavy doses of fact down peoples throats individually to no avail. But perhaps it's necessary when putting the word out to the masses as Ventura is trying to do.

Jesse has some things figured out and knows who the main players are. Obviously he has figured out that the facts of 911 do not fit the Offcial Conspiracy Theory. (However, like most of these researchers he has not pointed the finger at who--including Alex Jones) Most people now realize that, too. But the TPTB and its 6 family owned propamedia still think they can get the best of Jesse and make him out as an overly flamboyant idiot used as a prop to continue running cover up; and I bet alot of people think exactly that of Jesse.  But Jesse may be a flamboyant rustic guy but he's no idiot. I reckon Jesse knows propamedia is going to try to use him for their own purposes but he isn't exactly playing along, which is why his show got canceled. And if they come to get him and silence him they better be ready.
.
BTW, I think TPTB is a Mike Rupert (Crossing the Rubicon) and www.fromthewilderness.com invented acronym.

.
......TM7
.
.

That would be a good double interview.  Get Ted Nugent and Jesse Ventura together.  Then ask them what they think of the Israeli's who were laughing and taking pictures of themselves with the towers and our people burning in the background.  What do you think they would say?  Ted Nugent would walk out of the interview, but Jesse Ventura would describe in detail what he would have done to the Urban Movers.   ;D
