What if...

What if- America decided to pass a law stating any desecration of the flag would result in death. Anyone drawing or making fun of it would be blasphemous and put to death. In the case of a foriegn country direspecting our flag the U.S. will bomb the city responsible.
 
Would this show the rest of the world to respect our flag?     -or-
Would you consider this extreme or perhaps a bit off the wall or maybe even absolutely nuts?

extreme, but then im not a  savage.i believe it is your right to not believe in what i believe in. not so with certain religions or political affliations.
