I have its twin brother in .44 Special.  Despite all the clones and copies, nothing feels or fits like a Colt.

Please, please, please give us a full range report as soon as you can. I have been waiting a report from a non-magazine source. Enjoy, it looks great in the pictures!

That's beautiful!  Yup, say all you want but there's still nothing like a 'real' Colt!  44 Man

That is a fine looking revolver friend. I'll second there is nothing like a Colt. A couple years ago I bought a 1976 New Frontier in .45 Colt that was NIB, it was absolutely pristine. I intended to wear it out shooting it, but kept it unfired until I got another wild hair and traded it on another rifle.
Now I'm shooting a Freedom Arms 454 Casull. It's an outstanding shooting tool, but not a classic Colt.

its a beauty. i have to admit as much as im into single actions Ive never owned a real colt. Someday a 4 5/8s in 44 special will come along that i just cant pass up. Its tough anymore for me to come up with enough money to buy one and there isnt much in the line of trading stock anymore as most of thats been weeded out allready.

It will be some time before I get to shoot this one or any pistol. I had to have surgery on my right arm and will be laid up for a spell. :'(

Hope that arm of yours gets better soon. At least you have a real nice toy to admire while you are recovering.
