thanks for your replies this 760 has no cut in receiver for bolt to slide as on a 742 contacted remington they said they would give any gun currently in production for this gun back.     thanks again Joe.

Time to break out the old catalog and get busy. I would pick the most expensive standard gun they make. SP-10, 700 Safari.......................
