454 casull with 200 ftx

Looking for a load useing .452'' FTX I think the bullet is designed for the 460 but want to load it in 454 casull. The powders I have on hand are H-110, 2400 and AA#9, anybody have a pet load they would like to share?

I shot a small deer and a coyote last year and the year before with this bullet in my H&R 454. the bullet nearly came apart in the coyote at 35 yards then again on the deer at 65 yards.
 
The coyote was walking towards me as I hit him just behind the leg in the ribs, but the bullet exited the bottom of the brisket between the front legs. FORWARD of the impact....
 
The deer was hit high shoulder at under 75 yards, pieces of the bullet exited... I wont call them failures, as I recovered both animals with out a problem.
'BOTH of these where the same starting load of H110 powder. The bullet shoots GREAT accuracy wise. I have switched to the Gold Dot 300g 454 bullet.

A call to Hornady says the same thing, that through 454 it frag. but wasn't the bullet made for the 460 S&W, at fact. loadings it's right at 2200 fps. I thought about maybe trying it in hot 45 LC round through the 454. The B.C and sed. are pretty close to the same 45 lc b.c. .145 sed. .157 and the 460 .145/.149, or is my thinking [wich I realy should'nt do] backward.

Yes the 200 ftx is used in the factory hornady 460 loads and yes they completly frag out. The deer I've shot at under 150 the bullet is pretty much in pieces and nver exit. Now if I use the same barrel but with 454 casull with 300 jhp hornadys they blow clean thru bone and all and drop them in their tracks. At over 200 yrds the 460 200 ftx dosn't exit but flattens out and still drop them in their tracks.
So I prefer the 454 300 jhp better.

The .452''  200gr FTX works very well for paper and varmints, but I will never again use it for deer sized game.
