Gonna Be Gone For A Bit

Well, I had my presurgical testing yesterday. They did an EKG, Pulmonary Funtion Test, took chest xrays, took enough blood to quench a vampire's thirst, and asked a couple million questions. I'm all set for this Tuesday. I'll be the first to be operated on that morning. Gotta be there at 5am. Then after the operation I'll be taken to ICU. Five days minimum in the hospital. My daughter is taking leave from the Navy and flying home. We are getting a room in Springfield for Monday night. That way we won't have to leave here at 3am. I can't have a lot of things including my cell phone and my laptop so I'll be out of touch for a while. My mother is having a defibrilator put in Monday, can't put in a new Pacemaker, and I'm more worried about her than myself. Got a lot to do between now and then so may not be online much, if at all. Anywho, see ya's when I can.

Hang in there buddy.  Amazing what they can do these days.  Before you know it, you will be home, back on line, tweaking the anti Kel Tec crowd....:)

Thanks bunches guys, much apreciated. :) Tomorrow I'm spending the day getting chores done and out of the way. Just little stuff needing done. Saturday my son and I will spend the day bow hunting  one last time till I'm back on my feet. Deer are making rubs and scrapes and cooler weather has them moving good so we're realy looking forward to it. Sunday I'm going to hunt too if possible and the weather allows. Will be by myself though as my son can't hunt both days. I do my best thinking while sitting in the woods and got a lot to think about. Monday I'll be visiting the hospital as my mother will be operated on. Tuesday the long wait will be over and I'll be on my way to getting this all behind me.  ;D  Agents Orange & Pink has me messed up inside so just praying for no complications. When I had my bypass both my lungs collapsed, the left one twice. Bigeasy, ya got a good point there.  I'll survive if for no other reason than to iritate the anti Kel Tec crowd. ;) ROFL

Thanks guys. :) Pouring down rain here today but hoping my son and I can bow hunt in the morning. Got all my preperations made for the surgery and a day in the woods with my son would do me a world of good right now. :)
