Some people "catch on" early...
« on: October 10, 2012, 06:16:50 AM »
Some people find out "what's happening" when they are 5-6 years old...  Some folks find out "what's happening" later in life....

Others, just  stand around and wonder.."what's happening?"

THis fellow found out later, but thank God..he found out!

It makes a guy/gal feel all warm and fuzzy. The fact remains he wasn't all dead and as the little Irish lad said" You've got to be #%^&#% dead before you can go to Heaven. ;D ;D

when my FIL (now deceased) had his first heart attack, he was brought back with reluctance.
a few months later he finally told us what he had seen and heard. basically it was an indescribable feeling of peace with a soft white light around him.
I believe him. he was too good a Christian to lie.

Exactly the same Bugeye.

They brought him back just like the other guy, when you are truly gone it may be lights out period.

My sister had a very detailed experience in this way..which I won't bother to relate.

I am somewhat surprised that BBF is so much better informed about the human brain and it's activity, than this highly respected and Harvard educated, neurosurgeon does.. ;) ;D

Eye of Bug :)

Atheist, hmm I'm not sure I would qualify nor would I categorize myself as one. I will admit that I'm not anywhere near as sure of an afterlife or the type of it as you are.

IG
No I'm not, nerver wrote I was. It is a simple opinion of mine that when you are D E A D in the common understanding of the word as in
 No pulse
 No breathing,
No body heat
No brain activity
For more than a few seconds and not a medical condition or only a partial functioning brain.

You don't come back to report what you saw or felt. Seems simple for a guy like me that struggled to get his HS diploma. ;)
