US troops sent to Jordan for Syria crisis, Panetta says    Here we go. Probably just there as "advisers". Get ready for another "police action".

The United States has sent military troops to the Jordan-Syria border to help build a headquarters in Jordan and bolster that country's military capabilities in the event that violence escalates along its border with Syria, Defense Secretary Leon Panetta said Wednesday.

Well, aside from the fact that we can't seem to protect our own borders, why the heck should we give a tinkers dam about Jordans borders.
 
I seem to recall a politician who wanted to quit sending our troops to fight others wars. America turned it's back on him. ::)
