And again God provides.
« on: March 27, 2013, 07:58:14 AM »
I'm off today, slow at work so I got the night off from swing shift.  Got a call about 9:30 from work.  Do I want to go to days starting tomorrow.   And just when working swing and getting only about 4 hours of sleep was really starting to hit and take its toll on me.   Gotta be patient, let God do the work and trust that He knows what we need.  Which may or may not be the same as what we want.  But glory and thanks to Him for all things.

The Bible says to trust God, and lean not on our own understanding. Praise the Lord, God is so awesome!

  Great Joe;
  Glad to hear it!  Things will likely be much better for your family now..and you can get more sleep.  I worked graveyard shift for some years ..midnight till 8AM..never got enough sleep, because I can't sleep very well in daylight.

Thanks, pards.  It can be hard, well, I often find it hard, to let go and let God do His work.  Especially when it seems like He's saying, "Here, put this blindfold on and walk through the minefield.  Everything will be just fine."  But then, when I finally let go, I realize it isn't a blindfold at all, but a lens that brings everything into sharp focus and amazing clarity.
