blazer pistol?
« on: October 22, 2012, 04:46:49 AM »
i have an older octagon barreled blaser in .50 cal. it is a project. about 1/4 length of the barrel from the muzzle is pitted pretty bad. i was kicking around the idea of making it into a pistol say a 12'' barrel. do muzzle loaders fall into the same catagory as regular firearms as far as modifications to barrel length? i plan to research this in depth but i just wanted to pose the question here as a starting point.

As far as ATF goes I believe you are fine.  Different locations have different laws at the state and local level, though, so you should be sure to ask your firearm Magistrate.
