A while back I thought I read on here about loads for the H&R Handi-rifle 30-30 Win using 125/130gr pointed bullets and the LeveRevolution powder. I tried the search thingy and couldn't find it. so now I'm not sure where I saw it. I want to work up a load for coyotes and would like to know if any one has any pet loads for this setup. the load listed on the container is for the 160gr bullet and I don't want to go that heavy.... thanks in advance.....nova71

I posted a similar question over at the Specialty Pistols forum and got about the same response. The hodgdon site has data.

The lightest bullets they list are 140's. You might want to give them a call.

If the bullet weight you're interested in doesn't have load data for that powder on the Hodgdon site, then the powder is a poor performer with that bullet weight.  The Superformance and Leverevolution powders have a very narrow range of bullet weights and cartridges where they work well.  Outside that very narrow range, they're not a good choice of powder.

I asked the question a while back for 125 grain bullets. The powder performs better with heavier bullets.
