17 year old appparently turned himself in last evening. His mother told him he had to. Other than the scraggly beard you wouldn't notice him in a crowd of kids. According to TV, he was taking forensic and crime scene classes, also took his younger brother to school, not ever in trouble before.
My heart goes out to his family. Also the family who lost their only daughter.
This is the missing 10 year old who when found apparently had been dismembered, with parts missing so they could not identify her without DNA. Picked up in a 1000 foot walk to her friends home for a ride to school. This one shook up all the cops and FBI who deal with this sort of thing all the time.
Everyone has their favorite way to kill him, mine is hanging with a slip hook chain, hands free. In reality, some of these things would take us down to his level. He will face life, even if tried as an adult. One comment was that he could get parole in 40 years. My guess is that he will either end up a suicide or the general prison population will get him.
