Interesting editorial in today's (Nov. 5, 2012) LA Times entitled "Keeping politics out of the pulpit" and urging the IRS to go after religious leaders who cross the line and make political prounoucements  or endorsements from the "pulpit."   All  examples of offending conduct are by WHITE, anti-Obama churches and  pastors,  such as Rev. Billy Graham.   None of the offenders are black. None are pro-Obama

[Note: Editorial page not available on line]

In the same edition but in a different section is a story entitled "A sermon of forgiveness" about the famous First AME church (a black church) in Los Angeles, about its new pastor ( the old pastor was involved in sexual harassment, embezzlement of church funds and income tax evasion...he's been reassigned to the AME Church in San Francisco), and how  "This church as been a regular stop over the years for Democratic political candidates, including Bill Clinton, Al Gore and Presidnet Obama."

This story is illustrated with a picture of Democractic Cal. Gov. Jerry Brown sitting in the congregation  and is captioned, "Gov. Jerry Brown attends services at the First AME church in Los Angeles.  The church has become a regular stop over the years for Democratic political candidates."  ( Emphasis added)

White religious freedom = Bad.

Black Democrat religious freedom = Good.

Theres only one issue that should affect the church and that is abortion.
The sad part about this is that a church would support Hitler if he was anti abortion.

Yep, the pendulum needs to swing back to the middle.  Gone too far left.  In the 70's when integration was first started, it wasn't so bad.  However, once the welfare mentality took over starting with Johnson's "Great Society" and with Nixon starting Medicaid, the government created a monster.
