Need Expert help with Contender!

I am no rookie with the Contenderr as I have had it since 1979 and have 6 barrels but I need help!
 
A little bit of my holster info...
I have a leather T/C holster for 10 in with no scope..wks like a charm
I have a cordura shoulder  holster for a scoped 10 inch....wks good but i dont like the codura.
So, I purchase a leather holster dark brown off the internet.  scoped barrel doesnt fit. Crap!..holster has Sb-1 on the back. I cant find anything about it.
I then find another leather holster for sale and this one is made just like my leather holster for non scoped barrels(same leather and color) and it is the same one listed in T/c older catalogs for scoped 10 in barres..Ok, I get it and it is the same dimesions as the other one that doesnt fit....Crap!
The scope adjustment knob on my scope is what is keeping it from sliding in but it is tthe same size as most pistol scopes.
I think my problem is I am using the 92A weaver top mount and rings and that  has the bottom of the scope sitting aprox 3/4 of an inch above the barrel.
I think i need a mount that has my scope sittinnt lower.
 
Has anyone else had this problem and if so can u reccommend a mount that will wk?..

Never had your problem, but I checked my scoped barrels and most of them with a weaver 92a are about the same as yours at 3/4" above the barrel.  However, my barrel that wears a Leupold dual dovetail mount and Burris low rings is about 1/2 inch.  Hope this helps.
