Any hog huntin' left in the UP?
« on: October 22, 2012, 06:37:11 PM »
We went to "HOG WILD" a few years ago & really enjoyed the first class hunt and accommodations.  Are they still open?

Does anyone remember the scene from "Quigley Down Under" showing the aborigines lined up on the skyline as far as you could see?   That needs to be US!

havent talked to dave since last deer season but another friend of mine is a good freind of his and as far as i know hes still got pigs there. the case is kind of stalled in the courts right now and i dont believe the dnr has enforces anything yet. by the way our camp is about 6 miles from daves house. Hes a pretty good kid! tell him Lloyd said hi next time you talk to him.

A friend from Buffalo, WY who hunted hogs at Hog Wild with me several years ago has been trying to contact Dave for another hunt, without any success.  He was able to contact someone at "Superior Ranch" or something like that, but we would prefer to see Dave again.   The phone # on the website doesn't seem to work.   The person who works at the "Northland Bar" down the road from Hog Wild didn't know if Dave was still marketing the hog hunts.
