The Win 64gr PP ammo and bullets work fine in the 1:12" Handi, lots of reports on it over the years on it's effectiveness on deer from Handis. The bullet itself is rather short for it's weight which makes for easy stailization in the slower twist.

I agree... the 60 grain Hornady V-Max shot great out of our 1:12 barrels (but the 55 V-Max had an edge)... I have since sold them in favor of the 1:9's (which incidentally shoot great with the same load... but also with the Hornady 68 gr BTHP... which our 1:12's threw "all over the place!").
