when speed dye is dry will it be a little tackey ?
 
we are over run with possum here around  the house, are they worth skinning out or throw under neighbors house ??

 If you used enough coleman fuel, speed dipped traps should not be tacky.
 If you catch a possum,skin it and sell it. Wanton waste is against the law in most states.

should have come to you directly,
I had to use premium fuel and it has only dried for 2days .
 
leave tail on or off on possum when skinned ?

 Yep, you should have come to me first. I have used speed dip for many years. I have been trapping for 50 years and selling trapping supplies for over 20 years.
 If there has been mistakes to make on the way to learning--I have made them.
  Leave the possums tail on the carcass.

well, sorry
a fellow gave me a bunch of traps and supplies to get started since I have managed to get laid off till start of new year.  kinda put a dent in the ol' wallet.  Stupid live like stupid does.
just the chains were tacky  so giving ita lil while to cure shouldn.t be a huge problem.
 
the critters keep sneaken up to the dogs dish for a check to see if whats left.  i don't have to go far just out the gate and on to the river bank.  perhaps with a lil luck I can catch me an OTTER also.
