FOR THE SAKE OF OPINION
« on: November 15, 2012, 01:35:40 AM »
Please do not let this turn into an argument or arguing about someones opinion.
What President, in your opinion, faced great crisis in American history and handled it the best.
Among many:
I think JFK's handling the Cuban Missile Crisis the best.

I thought George Bush the 1st handled the Iraki invasion of Kuwait rather well.  The Irak military was wasted in a jiffy and I think it had something to do with the Soviet Union falling apart when they saw what happened to their Middle East surrogate.

I thought GWB handled the economic turndown in the beginning of his first term very well.  His tax cuts brought the economy back to the best it has ever been.

I like the way Reagan handled libya, grenada and the achilles lauro, they took an honest-to-goodness CnC.

The best crisis is no crisis at all. Here's how Coolidge handled what FDR, Carter, and Obama totally botched.

I don't know if one could call it a crisis, but I think that (in spite of the fact that he was an Indian hating SOB) Andrew Jackson's push to dismantle the Federal Reserve Bank was a great thing until the next crook in line came along and reestablished it.
