So after getting paid and purchasing my Sportster .17HMR this up coming Friday, I figured need a shotgun for my mini H&R arsenal. I was looking at the H&R Pardner Pump in 12 gauge. I really like the shorter barrel (18.5") and the wood stock and fore grip. The only problem is the wood trim package only comes in a 28" barrel.
So if I were to get the Pump in Wood stock and 28" barrel. How hard is it to trim the barrel down to 18.5"? Do i need anything special besides a hacksaw and a file the de-bur the end of the barrel?
Or would it be cheaper to buy the Pardner pump in black with the 18.5" and just switch out the stock and fore grip with wood?
I'm working with the last 3 on this list...
