I was really new to the H&R site when they shutdown and just recently found this site.
I shoot a 223 Ultra with a synthetic stock and a Bushnell 6-18x50.I love the rifle and am thinking of getting a barrel added soon.Just have to figure out wich one.

Welcome Stevex. I have the same scope on my synthetic sportster 22mag and really like it so far, although it's only been to the range with the new scope.
If you can't decide on which barrel, just buy one of each.

stevex,
Welcome!
You and your Ultra are in the right place, and welcomed company. Glad you found this site. How do you like the scope? I have the same rifle, and am looking for an inexpensive scope in that power range.

The scope is great. It is the Bushnell banner series 6-18x50.It is a dusk to dawn which is great in low light conditions and has fairly wide field of view.
Great scope and was under $150.
