"Best" drilling for southeast states hunting?
« on: December 03, 2012, 10:21:09 PM »
I have 3 drillings at the present time, all are 16ga. Two have 7x57R rifle barrels & one is a 6.5 Sauer.
I've had my eye on a drilling that was double 20ga over 22hi-power which I personally think would be ideal for Florida hunting. But found it hard to justify the cost considering I already had the 3 I own.

Sure hated not buying it though. I may never see another in that combination of calibers.

Bryon,

That 20x20x.22 highpower sounds very interesting and it would be a great complement to the other calibers you have.

Why not sell one of the 7x57r's as you have 2.  Or let me know and I will adopt the 6.5 Sauer.  If you dont purchase the .22 hi-power please PM me the sellers info as I might be interested.

regards,

Doug
