leupold 16x...whats it worth

picked up a rifle with a excellent leupold straight 16x.  have no use for it so am going to sell it.  what are these worth, what did they sell for new?  i havent seen any ads to get a ballpark figure.  thanks. arty

i should add that it is not one of the new tactical models, but an older varmint model thats not made anymore.
