With the deep/wide lube grooves on the slug in your pic I don't think the possible swaging of a few thousands of lead in your heavy barrel slug gun is an issue. Everyone who shoots foster slugs in a smooth bore with anything tighter than a cylinder choke is swaging a slug everytime they pull the trigger so I think you are good to go. If you are worried about shooting these slugs please ship my your USH with a couple a hundred loaded rounds and I will test it for you.
Also, if your slug was seriously oversized you would have the same problem as an oversized rifle bullet, the cartridge would not chamber.
