PX 4 Storm question
« on: September 19, 2010, 06:04:57 PM »
I'm looking at a new carry gun and I like the way the PX 4 Storm fit and feels in my hands. I'm looking see what others have to say as far as pro's and con's about them are. Plus, anything you may have or would like to change on it?

I replaced a Sig P250 with the PX4 and am very happy with it...I have big hands and the large grip module fits me fine.  I like the ease of disassembly, the feel and functioning to date has been flawless... The only downside that I have found with my Storm is that the rear sight needs to be drifted to shoot to point of aim and I am afraid to hit it too hard with a punch.. it shoots about two inches left @ 15 yds... not a big problem for a defensive handgun... I found a Fobus holster that fit it and am satisfied with my carry rig..

I could not get used to the Sig's DOA trigger... the Beretta's trigger was very good and crisp... I liked the Beretta enough that I just bought a "little brother" for the .45 and got a U22 Neos...

Hope this helps,

Themoose

The only thing I see wrong with the Beretta is the safety is on the slide.  That could be a problem when using the overhand slide rack technique;you may inadvertently engage it under stress. :o

Beretta stands behind it. Maryland SP bought them. If the safety is an issue try the C configuration. There is a safety, decock only, constant action, and double action only. The C is awesome.
