Anyone else shoot the CVA Apex?
« on: February 15, 2014, 09:55:07 PM »
I have an Apex with several barrels and am wondering if I'm the only one who does...
Is there anyone else out there?
Yeah, I'm a rifle looney

I bought an apex in 45/70 in December, shoots great, very accurate and a joy to carry. Pondered over a TC but decided on the CVA by price and what I read. It will shoot one inch groups at 100 yards with Hornady 325 grain Leverevolution, couldn't be happier. Good luck with yours.

I bought the ML version when they first came out back in 2009. Mine is very accurate and has a great trigger in it. I did have a .243 barrel for a while but ended up selling it as I really didn't need it. Also had a .357 max barrel for it but also sold it as I decided to go a different direction with my deer guns. Overall I think this is one of the best rifles out there.

I also have a 50 cal. BP barrel and it shoots well also.  Overall, I think it's a very nice platform with a great trigger.  I had Bellm make a 357 Max barrel for me that is a hoot to shoot.  I don't hear or see much written or spoken about the Apex and was curious if it had slipped below the waves.  Good to know there are at least a few of us out there.
BTW, I also shoot T/C singles and a Blaser K95  ;D .

I have two a 308 and a 50cal ml and both guns have great triggers and are accurate as all get out. Nice rifles and I'm happy with both.

Don't have the Apex, but just got into the new V2 Scouts which seem to have the same action as the Apex.

Love'em.........the triggers are nice, super accurate.
