.454 Casull Crimp

I had mentioned in a previous post that I had just purchased a new Freedom Arms and that some of my hand loads with a Kieth style 300gr. bullet were giving me a bit of a problem chambering. These were originally loaded for a Ruger SRH with ample chamber room. After reading a timely article by Brian Pearce in the December issue of Hand Loader magazine on hand gun cartridge crimping, I purchased a Lee Factory Crimp die to follow my RCBS seating die as well as run over previously loaded rounds. My thanks to him and his article. I have the best looking and fitting crimp that I have ever achieved and all fit well now. Brian made no choice as to favorites but explained the styles and advantages of each of the manufacturers. An article well worth reading.

Well, your post really didn't invite a response but I use the Lee factory crimp die all the time for my FA revolvers and I think they work great.

After re-reading it, you are right of coarse. Thanks for the responce. I was not aware of them until reading the article.
