Greetings from northern Alberta, Canada
« on: December 10, 2012, 04:50:44 PM »
I must say that I really enjoy your site. It seemed that everytime I would google something that interested me or was looking for info on one of my hobbies I would end up here. Finally figured I might as well join and just start the search here. Always looking to learn and also to help where I can.

I live about 5 hours north of Edmonton in the Peace country. Prairie, hills and mountains all at the same time, and there is still lots of place to hunt and fish where you do not have to ask permission. Green part of the year and white part of the year, and the green time is only slightly longer than the white time, but it is all good.

I am green with envy!  I've driven the Alcan a time or two, the Stewart-Cassiar Highway also, and across on the Yellowhead; the further North, the better I liked it!

Welcome aboard.  Lots of good folks here with lots of information, all willing to help a fellow outdoorsman.
