30-30 AI fire forming group

Well I reamed my newly aquired 30-30 to AI. Mounted a mint condition bushnell scope chief 3-9 with command post reticle. I had a lil free time after work today so I grabbed 30 of my handloads I use in my glenfield model 30 and went to the range to firefom. 30 shots with no cool down. @ shots left adjusted scope and fired away with 0 split necks. Not a bad group for rapid handi fire

There actually 28 bullets in that group. The pic is rotated from how the target was hanging. Low in the pic was actually left when it was hanging. First 2 shots were way left, made one scope adjustment then fired away.

Yupper, nice shootin!! Here's one of my 30-30AI fire form groups and the ultimate results with the 125gr Sierra PH SPT.  ;)

Well Tim it just so happens I have a can of h322 and a box of sierra 125 spitzers. Probably wont push quite as hard since I only have 30-30 brass-not 375.

I also plan on developing a load with hornady ftx 160 grain bullets for the 308mx and lever revolution powder. Should be able to get 300 savage performance with that combo.
