Just bought a sin./blue encore in 7mm-08, form Ed's TC. I will load my own ammo. Question is, what load data do you us for Encore's. All my manuals are 3-4 years old. Most have data for contenders---But what about the Encore. I read a post just a minute ago on the 45-70 encore,
but that is just 1 round. So any advice about this would be very helpful.
I would like to keep myself amd my new Encore in 1 piece,thanks.

I ain't bought a manual in over 25 or more years now, forget how long it's been. There is too much current data available from the different powder manufactures on line to have any reason to buy any.

In addition you can always e-mail them for information, and sites like Accurate Powder Company have a form on line to request load data for particular firearm and component combinations.

Bullet design, primer brand and type, case brand, etc. all are major variables which can change the way a load works in any one gun, much less from gun to gun.

I have a dozen or so manuals, and use them as a cross reference for data received from the net, or form any of the many sources available.
The ones I rely on most are Hodgdons and Sierra.

I would use the same data that I would use for any other rifle!

After all, the Encore in your case "IS" a rifle!

I have the 7m-08 in a 24" barrel. I use the loads out of my various bullet manufacturers reloading manuals. No problems.

The Encore might not be as strong a a bolt action but close. If you are shooting a magnum with 54000 cup you might want to sneak up on max. charges with some real caution. If it is a 30-06 the max. loads are only 50000 cup anyway. If it's a 257 roberts 46000 cup is max in the manuals witch won't be a problem for an Encore at all. But do What everyone else does and look at a few manuals because pressure does vary from one test to another.
