And as long as the middle class has to kowtow to the rich just to stay the middle class, they will be slaves. Fairly well-off slaves, but slaves nevertheless. You want a REAL free market economy? Let the federal government COMPETE with the corporations--- let them go toe to toe with industry and service as a not for profit provider and let the big money compete for real, rather than letting them buy up their competition and then set their own prices.
OK your ideas a flawed on many levels.
1) we need rich people to hire semi rich people that hire the middle class that hire each other and they hire the poor.
2) as you tax more and more from the rich they fire people. So the last new tax is about 100,000 for each rich person in new taxes. That is the firing of two middle class jobs, or one upper middle class job and an entry level job or one well paid specialist.
So we look at the 100,000 that is no longer going into the economy that generates 3X that. You make 100,000 and you need to buy a house, furnish it, keep it up, feed your self and your family and do recreational things. So as they spend $ the profits made on the items he / she wants goes to pay other people that have wants and needs that the nspend that same $. So leaving $100,000 in the economy = 300,000 taxable dollars.
If you send that same 100,000 to DC then it comes back into the economy as 1/3 or 30,000 of taxable income. 300,000 hires kids as first jobs, hires middle class people as managers, store owners, small business owners like plumbers, roofers, dry cleaners, grocery stores, bowling allies, gun stores, ranges, car dealerships, .... And on and on to meet peoples needs and wants.
30,000 does nothing but hire one lower middle class person. The more $ that is out in the economy the more diversity of small business, the less money the fewer companies. the more regulations the fewer companies that can produce products and services that can compete with the large corporations.
So comrad if you want to be a soviet citizen/ slave then simply keep asking for more and more taxes and regulations that only make the big bigger till there is only one.
