Been a while since I bought this rifle. And with 2 surgeries, retiring, & relocating several thousand miles away from where I bought it I finally got to shoot it some.
It's a cdl sf in 257 Roberts. When I got it in Alaska I mounted a scope and rough sighted it in across a lake shooting at a Lilly pad. Then bounced it in a cargo trailer 4,000 miles across the country on the way to Florida. Anyway a few days ago I got it out & took it up to the range here on the ranch. Set up targets and it shot about 6" high and a inch to the left. Moved the crosshairs to zero and the next 2 shots at 100 yards the "boy" said one was right on the other missed the paper. When he brought the target in it was both shots touching. The second shot just opened the hole up slightly. I called it good.
Couple days later I brained a medium size "meat hog" in one of the pastures shooting off a fence post at about 75 yards. Yeah it shoots good. And don't kick and is pretty. I'm happy with it.

it's the only bolt gun I own, & all I need here in Florida. Hate to admit it but these Remington SA bolt guns shoot.
But don't tell Swampy I ever said that.
