Glock 23 OR Walther P99?

Tomf,

Well...since I`ve owned a G23 ever since they came out with them, I`d say buy the Glock!  I own/shoot/carry 3 different Glocks and have never had any trouble with any of them.  I`m not saying the Walther would be a bad choice. (Who could ever contradict 007 ??)  My opinion though, for what it`s worth, is to go with the original "combat tupperware" family.  I`d get the Glock.  Good luck, and happy shooting...no matter which way you decide.   8)  tenzilla

Walther or Glock

tomf:  recent Gun Tests reports on both those handguns showed it came down to an individual shooter's preference between the two.  Both are excellent pistols.  The Walther has the DA/SA advantage over the Glock DAO mechanism.

If I could suggest that you find some folks at your local range who would let you try theirs to see which one you prefer you might be able to make a selection without reservation.  HTH.  Mikey.

Have both. I had to get rid of one it would be the Walther. No that theres anything wrong with the P99 I just like the Glock better. Shoot them both if you can and pick the one youre most comfortable with.
