Does anyone have any information about CW activity around Lake Charles, La, other than Niblett's Bluff and Calcasieu Pass/Calcasieu Bend?
All rumors and gossip gratefully accepted.

I'd be interested in learning about this also, as well as any of the battles/skirmishes in the SE Louisiana area, particularly in the Bayou Lafourche region.

Cleburne: Google has many published reports and articles on the Lafourche region and its part in the Red River campaign. Check out Shelby Foote's trilogy; most libraries have them?
