Wyomingites--- Gun Legislation - Time to kick some azz
« on: January 30, 2013, 04:48:10 PM »
Three bills about gun legislation were passed in the judiciary committee yesterday. The bills were 103, 104, 105. You can read the bills and find out how to contact your representative and senator by googling Wyoming legislature. A large crowd of us drove long distances to make a showing at the hearing. It was impressive.

The good news is that all three bills passed 8 to 1. The bad news is that the people in the know think that all will fail in the legislature or if they make it will be vetoed by the Governor.

What to do?  How about we make up some report cards on your representatives that show how they voted on these bills. It is about time that  politicians are held accountable for their votes. Post the report cards in your local businesses, hardware stores, sporting goods stores, grocery stores, bars. If you can, get them posted even before your congressman votes. Mabe if word gets around that we are starting a grassroots movement votes can be changed.  Update the posters as votes are taken.

If we win hooray. If we loose, take your posters home and then when your congressman is up for reelection put them up again.

The heroes yesterday were Halverson Lincoln Sublette Teton,   Kroeker Natrona,   Krone Park,  Miller Fremont,  Walters Natrona,  Baker Sweetwater,  Gingery Teton,  Watt Sweetwater.

The one bad actor yesterday was Cathy Connolly  Albany. She voted no on all three bills. By the way she also voted YES for same sex marriage. I think that if her record is known, she wont even be reelected in Albany county. I think that even Democrats in Wyoming understand that THE SECOND AMENDMENT ISN'T ABOUT HUNTING, IT'S ABOUT FREEDOM.
