My first Colorado elk was shot in area 53 it was a 350 pound cow. I shot her right through the lungs witha 270. :D

Congrats, yote.  I live not to far from that area.  I was wondering, what areas you think are the best for elk in CO?  I live in Aurora and don't have a lot of time off for hunting, but plan to go next year.  Any help would be appreciated. :D  Also, I want my brother to come out from California to hunt some coyotes this year.  Do you know any good places to call in some dogs? :grin:
