Texas bill would prepare for fed meltdown.

Texas Bill Would Prepare for Federal Meltdown    As the Obama administration and Congress continue to rack up trillions of dollars in debt while the Federal Reserve conjures ever-greater sums of fiat currency into existence out of thin air, lawmakers in Texas have officially become the latest policymakers to openly explore the potential consequences. Legislation filed recently in the Lone Star State would, among other points, require a study on the effects of having to become partially or completely independent of the federal government in case Washington, D.C., is unable to function due to financial chaos.
Known as the "Texas Self-Sufficiency Act," House Bill 568 does not call for secession from the United States — a proposal that has been gaining increasing popularity among some segments of the Texan population fed up with an out-of-control central government. However, according to Republican state Rep. James White, who introduced the legislation, Texas would be wise to at least consider and prepare for a potential federal meltdown in light of recent developments in Washington.

There is no secede in the bill but that's what it's about. Our economic advisers are saying that the US will go into hyper inflation this year-probably around the summer time. Food will double then triple in cost and gas will be around 8-10 dollars a gallon. Jobs will evaporate as well as businesses. The US will go into bankruptcy and it will be a free-for-all. Texas and 6 other states are considering options and the front runner is to leave the US and form another nation. There is a lot of foreign support for this "maybe" new nation. Only time will tell what's really going to shake out. Texas, FWIW, is projected to have an 8.8 BILLION dollar surplus this year. Too bad the media made Perry out to be an idiot in the Presidential campaigns. He's been the best Governor we've ever had.

"Republic:  I like the sound of the word -- means people can live free, talk free, go or come, buy or sell, however they choose.  Some words give you a deep feeling.  Republic is one of those words that makes me tight in the throat. -John Wayne- The Alamo
