dry fire/ unloaded chamber indicator?
« on: February 18, 2013, 09:10:09 AM »
I am curious do you they make dry fire tool/unloaded chamber indicator that will work for glocks?  I want something for practicing at home so I always know there is no  possible way I could have accidentally cycled a live round into my handgun. if it was in .40 or 9mm would work.

Not that I know.
You can buy a bunch of the snap caps.
And buy a seperate mag or two.  Paint the butt cap(s) A different color.  Bright red, dummy gun blue,.....
Load only the snap caps into those mags.
Clear the gun and put away all live ammo mags.
Use the dummy mags to dry fire and practice reloading and clearing a dead rounds.
clean up all the dummy rounds after your dry fire practice session and reload your dummy mags.
Return the dummy mags to your storage area and reload your live mags and cycle a round into the chamber for CCW or Home Defense.
