22 inch Youth 12 gauge???
« on: February 10, 2013, 02:49:38 AM »
I hear tons about the 22" 20 gauge, in fact I have one, but I've never heard from anyone mentioning the 12 in the same length and choke.  I know it would be a stomper but given a little creative light reloads it could be a versatile little shotgun.  An acquaintance who reloaded 7/8 oz shot in 12 gauge at normal velocities once said that the 12 made the best 20 gauge and in our little singles the 12 would be lighter.

jpshaw:

I think that model was dropped when Remington took over.  But they still list the 12 gauge 22" modified choke barrel on the accesory barrel list with a cost of $55.

Jeff

There used to be a survivor model that was 12 gauge and it had a 22 inch barrel. They were available in nickel and blue. The pic in my avatar is 1 of the nickel ones.
