Duke RE: 375 H&H
« on: February 18, 2004, 12:42:46 PM »
Your email keeps getting returned to me. I hope you don't mind me answering here.
Hi Duke,
I don't find the recoil excessive and neither does my wife Sandi as you can see from the attached video clip. I can't compare it to the 10 gauge as I've never shot one. I don't know why you'd want to load cast lead bullets as the 375 H&H easily exceeds the 1800 fps threshold of unjacketed projectiles. Mine shoots all the weights well ( 220 to 300) averaging 1" MOA all day long. Sandi harvested a bull caribou on the show this year using a 220 grain Hornady hand load and the results were spectacular.
Hope this helps.
Take care, Rich

Duke45 - My email to you also bounced back.  Send me one that works,
and I'll send you the information.  By the way, it's VVCG, not WCG.
