Firearms "stimulus" program
« on: February 12, 2013, 08:22:12 AM »
Sounds kinda high, but the article says that 65 million firearms have been purchased since Obama took office.  At least he's been good for some of the economy...

65 million firearms. How many are in the Armed Forces? Yes they have heavy weapons.  I can be killed by cluster bombs but then that is one less person to 'contribute to the common good'.   I can be killed; I cannot be defeated.

The article bases its info on the number of background checks performed.  That would not include all the ones bought through the various "loopholes" that the gungrabbers keep complaining about... ;)

Obama has defeated his own agenda.  By announcing he wants gun and ammo control, he has sent the masses out to buy everything that's available.  He's made it much worse for his liberal ideas.  He should have kept his mouth shut until he had the authority to suspend on sales.  The gun stores and big box sporting goods sales, and the Internet suppliers are all sold out.  If you want a box of hp 9mm's, good luck.
We wil have to wait it out; this has happened before.  It's the lack of ammo storm before the lull.  The idiot ain't got the backing he needs.  Ammo and autos will be back.

You may not be as dumb as you think as stocks have declined in at least some of the companies including Ruger and S&W, due to fears of the long term effects of possible new gun restriction laws.

In 2008, when zero was immaculated, Ruger stock was about $8. Today it closed at over $54. Coincidence? :-[

jhm, please emphasise 'when' we survive this administration. 'if' we do not survive this administration, the USA will not survive, there will be civil war and several smaller countries will result.
