I just recently bought a Mauser 201 lux, and haven't purchased a scope for it yet so I don't really know how it shoots. Anyone have any experience with this rifle?

Mauser probably same as Kleingunther .22  Quality level on KDF was equal to new Kimbers. Watch out for ejector when you use a cleaning rod. I was dumb enough to put a nasty scratch in my Dewey. Never did find any spare mags for it. You'll love it, expect topnotch accuracy.

Thanks for the reply Grizz, I'm hoping it shoots as good as it looks.

Do a trial fitting of a scope before you buy anything.
Mauser's are notorious for being difficult to scope. The high lift of the bolt handle and the safety make a high mount necessary. The factory scopes had high, see through mounts with a mostly straight tube.

Thanks for the heads up slash, I checked it out and it doesn't look like it will be a problem. The lift seems to be about normal on this model.
