CVA sights
« on: April 07, 2013, 01:31:23 PM »
I am interested in a CVA Scout but I have never seen one. It is at least 150 miles to nearest possible dealer so I will probably need to order one blind. I really don't want to use a scope as I am looking for a lightweight walking around rifle. I normally prefer peeps for their compactness/light weight. I doubt I would ever shoot at anything much over 200 yards anyway.
How are the scope rings/bases attached? Are they screw mounted or integrally mounted? A photo of the mounting set-up sure would help. Has any one put a receiver sight on a CVA Scout?
