Really interesting, apparently their feedback has been so bad that they have removed this statement from their where to buy page already. It was there a little bit ago, but seems to have now been removed...

Basically, it said that they would only honor the warranty on scopes purchased thru authorized dealers, and that the policy superceded all previous warranty information as of Feb 12th.

Now the page is blank.

I spoke to Leupold this morning and they have been swamped with emails, phone calls and internet complaints. The policy has already been changed.

Apparently the internet does have an affect.  Check this out...
